Theatre History I
Survey of theatre movements, plays, playwrights and techniques from antiquity through the 17th century. Emphasis on adaptations and Latine histories.

Theatre History II
Survey of theatre movements, plays, playwrights and techniques from the 17th century through today. Many texts are based in European and U.S. contexts but there are many opportunities for students to think trans-nationally.

Performing the Law
How can theatre and performance give us a better look into how law is performed in our everyday lives? With a mix of legal, gender and performance studies, this class will examine texts and performances from the last 30 years that engage with legal struggle on the individual, regional and national levels.

Queer Frontier
Media depictions of queerness on the American frontier. Covers plays, music videos, movies and songs. How has the figure of the cowboy been adopted by LGBTQ+ media?
Linnea was so helpful with any questions I had. When I wanted to rewrite one of my papers, she walked me through what I needed to fix and what to focus on for my second draft. She was great at facilitating discussions and creating a safe space for all of our ideas.
